SMS Giveaway Day!

It's finally here, the SMS Giveaway Day - I needed a good excuse for a giveaway! I've got not one, not two, not three, but FOUR prizes to giveaway, to three lucky winners. The first two are pretty special to me, and will be a bit hard to let go! The second two have been sitting in the stash and I hope will find a happier home.
All four prizes

Four 1/4 meter+ cuts of DS Quilts fabrics that are exclusive to Australia/New Zealand. More than 1 meter of gorgeousness! Please note that the top two fabrics are pre-washed and dried as I used them to make a dress and a skirt for my little girl.

Prize #2 - Lizzy House scraps

My followers and friends know that Lizzy House fabrics are one of the things that got me started sewing. This bundle contains various sized charms and strips from the Red Letter Day and Castle Peeps lines. It weighs about the same as a charm pack. I should be able to add some more when I cut the fabrics for an upcoming project.

I only just broke the seal to take this photograph. They're lovely fabrics but not the bright colours I like to use. I've searched a bit to figure out which collection this is, but haven't had any luck. Anyone know?

How to enter
  1. Leave a comment with your first two prize preferences. You could also tell me about the side dish or salad that you like to bring to holiday parties.
  2. Leave a second comment if you follow my blog.

I will randomly pick three winners. The grand prize winner gets their two prize choices. The next two each get one prize.

    What a fab giveaway, thanks so much~! I'd love the DS quilt fabrics as we didn't get any in England! (I did manage to procure the US ones through Flickr though!) and the Punctuation charm pack as I love this line, though I'd be happy with any of these prizes!

    Mmmm yse please I'd love the Lizzy House fabrics, I have a little in my stash and would love to make my youngest daughter a quilt with it as she loves these fabrics and has a bag with the orange ducks on. 2nd I'd like the DS Quilts, just because they are gorgeous and not available here! thanks so much. oh and a pesto rice salad for parties!

    I always bring something called "Berry Mallow Yam Bake" - it is a casserole that has yams, whole berry cranberries, a oatmeal brown sugar crumble on top and browned marshmallows on top of all of that. Really yummy!

    Wow! Great fabrics! My favorites would be 1 and 2, but they are all great.

    How very generous of you Jill! My favourites are the first 2 packs and I didn't realise that those DS fabrics were just available downunder. I'm pretty sure I have the bottom blue one to make up in a bag for my Mum's Christmas present.
    Okay one of my favourite side/salad dishes to take is a roasted root vegetable salad. I roast the veggies in either brown sugar or honey with fresh cumin and cardamon I think although I need to look up the recipe to be exact. I know its an easy dish to prepare too once the veggies are chopped up.

    Lizzy House scraps rules!
    Second choice would be DS Quilts fabrics (but anyway Lizzy's fabrics are the best choice - I love it, but I was late for this collection:(.

    I love bringing to the parties salads with ruccola (usually with little tomatoes, Parmesan and some balsamic vinegar - very simple, but so tasty).

    Ooh I do love a giveaway! If I had to choose I'd go with #2 or #1. My staple side dish is a chickpea and cous cous salad - its a Stephanie Alexander recipe and is just as good a day or two later so you can make it in advance.

    I like numbers three and four. I make puppy chow (or muddy buddies depending on where you live) because it's something my girls can help with and everyone in my family loves. Dinner is never ready on time so it's the perfect desert snack before dinner.

    Thanks for the giveaway. I'd like to win the Punctuation charm pack or the Lizzy House scraps. I love making pasta salads for parties. I make one with poppyseed dressing, feta cheese, black olives, red or yellow peppers, tomatoes and shells. It's really easy, and everyone always likes it.

    I'm a mad Lizzy fan, too. I only have one of the prints from Red Letter Day, so I would love those little duckies and peeps.

    i love any of those prizes. and that #4 would be fantastic for a quilted curtain in my lodge/maine woods themed bathroom...
    favourite side dish: carrot salad- has apple cider vinegar, olive oil, sunflower seeds, a few cloves of finely chopped garlic(or pressed), a bit of pepper and salt to taste, chopped green onions/scallions, and a bunch of carrots shredded. DELICIOUS!! (but do bring breath mints)

    I would love the DS quilts fabric (especially as we can't get any here in the UK) and the punctuation charm pack please. Fab giveaway. I tend to take desserts rather than salads but I do love a good salsa, especially one with a thai twist ie. lime juice and fresh corriander with tomatoes and spring onions

    I usually volunteer to bring cheese, and bread to parties because then I know there is something my peeps will eat. But, my preference is to bring dessert because I love to make pie - any kind really. Mmm, mmm pie.

    My first choice is #2 Lizzy House because I fell in love with the medieval print, but I only found it after it was sold out. I love all the colors and prints! Second choice is #3 Moda Punctuation. Side dishes: I usually bring deviled eggs and mashed potatoes.

    I have just re-discovered sweet potatoes and I really love them. I like to bake them and I also like to put them in dishes.
